I inherited an very old vita mix and googled smoothies and came across "green smoothies" and was intrigued enough toresearch them and this book and author surfaced many times so I decided to buy the book myself and see what all the hype was about. I love the science behind it all, and have enjoyed green smoothies most everyday since reading the info! I then decided to try Raw meals too. I have fallen back to my old diet here and there but the green smoothies have stayed! I have lost 8 pounds too!Just incorporating 1 green smoothy a day! I really do feel it is a must do for life now! Leonarsd My doctor recommended this book and I'm glad he did. I have had many health problems for years and this book makes sense about why we are having so many health issues. It is well written and very informative. I have changed my diet and aiming to eat as this book recommends. My health has already started to improve.
